About Me

As an IT professional with over 16 years experience, my background includes various positions as Director, Manager, Systems Administrator, and Network/Systems Administrator. My current position is Director of Information Technology for a high capacity optical networking solutions provider based in Allen, TX. Supporting 60 users across 2 international offices, 3 contract manufacturing facilities, as well as geographically dispersed sales and support teams, has helped strengthen my technical and professional skills. I’m an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong interest in emerging technologies.

I’m extremely “hands on” and my skill set is diverse, but I would say one of my specialties is my ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues and problems. Whether it be domain migrations after M&A activity, P2V migrations using VMware and Hyper-V, administering multi-OS environments, implementing and administering Salesforce, implementing IT controls for SOX compliance, I’ve been through it, and feel it’s my solutions oriented approach to problem solving that has proven to be my number one asset. I’m not only used to wearing many hats, I enjoy it; I thrive in an environment where no two work days are exactly the same.
